"He emphasizes the introspective dimension; stretches the silences, and already gives the feeling to reveal other facets. The Thai is an inspired and visionary poet, and his interpretation of the eight "Fantasy Pieces" op. 12 by Schumann is a characterization of wonder, intelligence and expressiveness, where he continually gives the sense of seeking the meaning of the notes.”
"He approached the Concerto in C major with a frankness coupled with refinement of sound and phrasing. While some passages may seem exotic, they also appear to be clearly determined by a musician who listens to his inspiration and imagination, well-supported in this by the orchestra. It is a performance that may be bewildering, but not without charm."
"The Thai pianist San Jittakarn sparked many debates after his performance of the concerto. From the beginning, he imposes a massive, sober, and inspired sound. But very quickly, he becomes the virtuoso of surprise, closely followed by the orchestra! Whether in the breathing, the shifted accents, or in the support of certain colors and harmonies"
"San Jittakarn's personality could fully express itself in Schumann's Fantasiestücke op. 12. The young pianist molds himself into each of them, delivers all the poetry as a colorist sculpting each moment with a sound that is always full and luminous; perhaps he could vary the nuances more. A few minor hiccups do not detract from this beautiful poetry. A very beautiful moment of music."
"A highly decorated pianist, Jittakarn commanded the keyboard with an adroit mastery, first taking his time with the piece’s familiar melodies before racing through the more technical passages with an intrepid gusto. Each phrase was carefully and beautifully crafted, full of dynamic contrasts and a nuanced approach to timing."
"Jittakarn studied in the States at Oberlin, Juilliard and Yale and brought a flavour of America to his recital with a wonderfully virtuosic selection of Gershwin songs which he performed just before the final piece - a dazzling performance of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Sonata. The programme also included Shostakovich, Beethoven, Chopin and, of course, a piece by Paderewski. Jittakarn produced some beautiful colours in his expressive and technically demanding recital and the concert concluded with an encore by Scarlatti."

"San Jittakarn, a pianist from Thailand, is a pianist who may be hard to imagine as a Thai native, but he has already established recognition with impressive achievements, having studied at prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School, Yale University, and Oberlin Conservatory, and placing third at the Geneva International Music Competition. Ms. Kei Ito, who served as a judge in Geneva, also mentioned him as a very interesting personality."
